American Jewish Spirit - Spring 2009When it comes to making matches, Partners in Torah has got it pretty-much covered. But what do you get when you match up one of the most effective Jewish educational organizations in North America, with one of the nation’s most popular and well-established Jewish literary publications? What you get is the most exciting, informative and inspiring magazine to hit your mailbox – or email-box – this year! In fact, the recent inaugural edition of the Partners in Torah-affiliated American Jewish Spirit magazine created such a buzz, that energized readers from near and far wrote in petitioning for more!

Contained within this pre-Pesach Spring edition was a selection of fascinating Partners in Torah-inspired pieces, including a cover-story entitled ‘Now You Siyum’ – which told of some the wonderful study milestones reached by Partners in Torah phone-study partners around the country. Partners in Torah student and freelance writer Masha Smagley further moved readers with an emotional piece about her special Pesach experiences with the family of her former study partner, Esther Solomon, may her memory live on. And… in preparation for our holiday experience, Partners in Torah’s own Rabbi Leiby Birnham added depth and insight to our Seder night by delving into the question: “What’s In It for Me?” Stay tuned for our next edition, planned for release in time for the High Holidays!
